Legacy of the Ages
All of the basic languages are available: Abyssal, Aquan, Auran, Celestial, Draconic, Druidic (Druids only), Dwarven, Elven, Giant (with Fire, Frost, Hill, and Storm dialects), Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Ignan, Infernal, Krilloth, Lyan (Common), Orc, Sylvan, Terran, Deepspeak (Undercommon)
The regional (Human) languages are: Algerothian (Algeroth, Keidran, Tarmalaine), Nedrothian (Nedros, Tarmalaine), Necidian (Necidia, Tarmalaine), Vaelanese (Wyrrh’Vaelan) Isle-Speech (Rielreef Islands), Layran (Layra Ve’laine), Tyr (Tyr’Ghale, Almase), Takan (Takeshi), Shou Tsung (Hu Tsung Shou).
- In general, only bards, scholars, diplomats, and wizards know most of the non-regional and racial languages; the common individual will usually know their regional language along with one or two other regional languages (if even that much). Common is only really used as a trade language; merchants and travelers are the ones most likely to know that language.
